Athelas/Commure Podcast & Recruiting Videos

Goldwax had a very ambitious project with Athelas and Commure consisting of setting up 6 cameras, audio and lighting for a podcast and immediately jumping into 12 interviews and broll back to back that would turn into 6 recruiting videos.

The podcast required 6 cameras, three FX3 cameras and three prosumer cameras that Athelas and Commure wanted to compare to our higher quality cameras. We essentially just had the prosumer cameras next to our high quality cameras, so not a big lift on our end. They have since decided to shoot themselves, but we set the standard for lighting and helped their internal team to best shoot them and are currently the editing team for the podcasts moving forward.

Following the podcast, we scouted the office and setup for our 6 recruiting videos consisting of 12 interviews of employees. Since we only had a few hours to shoot the interviews and broll, the interviews were back to back and we had each interviewee go with our second shooter after the interview to shoot broll for 10-15 minutes.

It was all a bit of a time crunch for the recruiting videos, but I believe we really maximized the shoot day for them and they were very pleased with both the podcast and recruiting videos.
