All In Podcast | Chamath Palihapitiya

Goldwax recently went to Social Capital headquarters in Palo Alto, California to film with Chamath Palihapitiya for an All In Podcast short film following his health journey.

Chamath has been traveling around to speak to different health experts to better understand how to better optimize his health for himself and his colleagues who have found major success, but may struggle with their health.

Goldwax was in charge of filming Chamath speak to camera via teleprompter and essentially filming the narration portion of his short film.

We had a script, but as far as specific location and set, it was still a bit up in the air. We made sure to arrive 2 hours ahead of time to review possible locations within the office, move furniture around to create a set and then efficiently setup all of the video, audio and lighting gear in Chamath’s office.

Chamath as expected was a pro and only required about 3-4 reads from start to finish. After we finished filming, we packed up all the gear and returned all furniture back to it’s original place, leaving no trace that we were ever in his office.
