All In Podcast | Marty Makary

It’s always a pleasure working with the All In Podcast and this time we also got to work with the new head of the FDA, Marty Makary. Interesting conversation between Marty and David Friedberg from All In Podcast.

The biggest challenge with this shoot was the uknown like many shoots. We were given an address, but no pictures of the specific shoot location, but when we arrived, we saw potential and immediate got to work. We rigged up an Amaran 200x with a lantern as our key for the two speakers, then also used an Aputure 600x blasting into the ceiling to help give the room a good base of light so it’s not too dark and moody. The last final touches were the three camera angles, two boom mics and dimming down the shades. Since it was a sunny San Francisco day, we had to lower the shades in order to avoid the background from being super bright. Overall, the video came out great and the client was happy.
